Leapfrog

Founded in 2012 by Dutch company AV Flexologic, Leapfrog 3D Printers aims to make high-tech 3D printing techniques easy for everybody through advanced, intuitive software, and by giving people the features they need to print with outstanding results.

Take the Leapfrog Bolt as an example. This 3D printer has an enormous 7” touchscreen on it through which you control the Bolt’s settings, and it has Leapfrog’s latest multi-platform software which lets you operate the Bolt anywhere with a web browser. This printer offers a closed print environment too, a long list of supported materials, and unique dual-separated heads which can print left-right parts side-by-side and mirrored parts side-by-side.

Who are Leapfrog printers for?

Leapfrog’s 3D printers are widely used in primary and secondary education, to teach children the skills they need to operate a 3D printer and to introduce 3D printing techniques to beginners. They are also used by engineers, designers and architects, to transform sketches and model drawings into tangible models. And, because all Leapfrog 3D printers offer a competitive build volume and advanced features, they offer teachers and designers room to grow their 3D printing efforts and expand their knowledge of printing techniques.
