Officially launched in March 2013, ColorFabb are the 3D printing industry’s leading third-party filament manufacturer. They produce filaments in 1.75mm and 2.85mm sizes, making them suitable for a wide range of fused filament fabrication 3D printers that have an open filament system. Incredibly passionate about 3D printing, ColorFabb are known for producing the highest quality filaments in the world.
ColorFabb’s range of filaments include PLA/PHA and co-polyester variants. They have also created a new filament called nGen, which in many cases can be used as an alternative to PLA or ABS. In addition to this, ColorFabb have created PLA/PHA filaments with other materials embedded within, including cork, brass, bronze, copper, wood and bamboo, which when printed, take on the appearance of their respective embedded material. For example, parts and models that are printed with CopperFill take on the appearance of real copper and can be polished and buffed to a shine. This filament is also three-times heavier than PLA.
ColorFabb filament reels are available in either 600g, 750g or 2.2kg weights, and there are value packs available offering fantastic value for money. All in all, ColorFabb filaments are highly recommended by us. They really are fantastic to print with and to have fun with.
