Leapfrog MAXX PRO Hybrid offers the print speed of PLA, and the robustness of ABS.
It is a unique 3D printing material, with thermal and technical properties that are between ABS and PLA. With it, you can 3D print faster with a level of detail comparable to PLA, but parts aren’t as prone to warping. Parts have the strength and robustness of ABS, so to put it bluntly, MAXX PRO Hybrid offers the best of both worlds.
This material is also non-toxic and meets the latest FDA regulations for food contact. So it is ideally suited to creating packaging concepts and prototypes. However, thanks to its excellent mechanical properties, it is also suitable for end-use parts.
When printed, Leapfrog MAXX PRO Hybrid is translucent, with outstanding clarity and a glossy surface. The extrusion temperature is 240-260 °C while the bed needs to be set at a temperature of 60-70°C. It is compatible with the Leapfrog Bolt, Creatr HS, Creatr HS XL and Xeed 3D printers, and it comes supplied on a ready to use spool. This material can also be combined with MAXX PRO Hips, should your parts need additional support when printing.
