The compact and stylish Zortrax Inventure is an affordable 3D printer for professionals.
It’s designed to offer the highest dimensional accuracy for its price and a simple printing process. It boasts a heated chamber that delivers a consistent work temperature up to 90° C for high dimensional precision and a built-in notification system that allows you to carefully control and manage the printing process from start to finish.
This printer has a build volume of 135 x 135 x 130 mm. It’ll print at a resolution of 90-400 microns with a positioning precision of 1.5 microns and this combined with that heated chamber ensures all models, no matter their complexity, look truly sensational when removed from the print bed prior to any sanding or finishing.
The Zortrax Inventure has a closed filament system and uses Z-PLA and Z-PETG. This filament is resistant to common damages and it has shown itself to be a durable and hardy material for industrial prototyping and end-use parts.
You can also purchase a Dissolvable Support System (DSS), then print parts with supports that are soluble in a water-based solution - you simply submerge your prints in a special fluid for a few hours and the supports will melt away on their own. This feature eliminates manual processing and the risk of damaging prints with your hands.
The Zortrax Inventure is ideally suited to business environments and office users. It’s an extremely stylish bit of kit and it will become the focal point of your office environment.

Do you have to use Zortrax filament?
Yes, the Zortrax Inventure has a special filament system which uses cartridges, the advantage of this is that you don't need to spend hours refining nozzle temperatures and flow rates. The cartridge also contains a chip which communicates with the Zortrax Inventure to tell it what type and colour of filament it is and how much it has used.
What solution does the Dissolvable material dissolve in?
The dissolvable materials simply dissolves in water in the Dissolvable Support Structure (DSS) Station (included).
Does the machine software add support structure?
Yes, Z-SUITE is fully capable of creating the support structure automatically, leaving you time to concentrate on what is important.
Founded in 2013, Poland-based 3D printer manufacturer Zortrax boast some of the most popular fused filament fabrication (FFF) 3D printers on the market.
Zortrax printers are trusted high-performance machines, with the Zortrax brand known the world over for the quality of their hardware and their unique filaments, which are proprietary but offer limitless applications beyond regular ABS and PLA.
Zortrax 3D printers are used within automotive, architecture, engineering and medicine, where the need for good dimensional accuracy and consistency is high. The current range of 3D printers from Zortrax include the M200 and the Inventure. The M200 offers a spacious 200 x 200 x 180 mm build volume with a resolution of 90-400 microns. The Inventure offers the same layer resolution, but a smaller build volume of 140 x 140 x 140 mm.
The Zortrax ecosystem is one of the most special of any, and testament to this is the amazing range of material options. For the M200, Zortrax has developed no less than six unique filaments to cover applications where cost, elasticity, strength, durability, transparency and quality is of paramount importance. All Zortrax printers offer low operating costs and come in at a reasonable price, making them among the best in terms of return on investment.
