Zortrax Z-PETG Black Filament (2kg)

Zortrax Z-PETG is a functional filament that’s highly resistant to salts, alkalis and acids, including oils and greases. It has outstanding tensile strength and medium hardness, with high elasticity properties. It is ideally suited to prototyping and for end-use parts that are required to function in demanding environments. One of the main uses of Z-PETG is in the manufacturing industry, to create packaging prototypes.

The Z-PETG for sale on this page is a 2kg reel for use with the Zortrax M300. The Zortrax M300 is a much larger 3D printer than the M200, with a bigger build volume to match. 2kg worth’ of Z-PETG will last you through several print cycles. It is available in Black or Grey colours and it is supplied on a spool and it is 1.75mm in diameter. Z-PETG is the second strongest filament Zortrax makes, behind only Z-ULTRAT Plus.

Because of its high tensile strength and medium hardness, Z-PETG is suited to the production of parts that will be used in mechanical assemblies. Other applications include casings for storing goods thanks to high chemical resistance, and creating working parts of cars and other machines, due to its resistance to substances like oils, grease and lubricants.

    Zortrax

Founded in 2013, Poland-based 3D printer manufacturer Zortrax boast some of the most popular fused filament fabrication (FFF) 3D printers on the market.

Zortrax printers are trusted high-performance machines, with the Zortrax brand known the world over for the quality of their hardware and their unique filaments, which are proprietary but offer limitless applications beyond regular ABS and PLA.

Zortrax 3D printers are used within automotive, architecture, engineering and medicine, where the need for good dimensional accuracy and consistency is high. The current range of 3D printers from Zortrax include the M200 and the Inventure. The M200 offers a spacious 200 x 200 x 180 mm build volume with a resolution of 90-400 microns. The Inventure offers the same layer resolution, but a smaller build volume of 140 x 140 x 140 mm.

The Zortrax ecosystem is one of the most special of any, and testament to this is the amazing range of material options. For the M200, Zortrax has developed no less than six unique filaments to cover applications where cost, elasticity, strength, durability, transparency and quality is of paramount importance. All Zortrax printers offer low operating costs and come in at a reasonable price, making them among the best in terms of return on investment.
