The E3D Volcano Hardened Steel nozzle is an incredibly wear resistant, hardened steel nozzle for 3D printing with abrasive materials. This nozzle fits the 3DP Workbench, and allows you to print with the likes of CopperFill, BronzeFill, SteelFill, BrassFill and other hard, abrasive materials without risk of wear. Standard brass nozzles will become damaged over time when printing abrasive materials. This hardened steel nozzle is much more resilient; it will not wear down as quickly, or at all, if looked after properly.
The E3D Volcano Extra Nozzle is available in sizes 0.4mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm, 1mm and 1.2mm to fit many large-format 3D printers. The package includes one select nozzle, so if you need a few different nozzle sizes, then please select what you need from the dropdown to your right. These nozzles are a fantastic upgrade to brass nozzles. E3D took their time developing them; they go through a combination of thermal and chemical treatments to make them as durable and hardy as possible. They are also convenient to work with, with identifiable marks on the flats of the hex to tell you what the nozzle size is. They are also backwards compatible, so they’ll work with both the E3D V5 and V6 hot-ends.
