The E3D Volcano Extra Nozzle 3mm - Brass is a direct replacement for the brass nozzle on the 3DP Workbench. Brass nozzles are suited to 3D printing with PLA, ABS, PVA, or any other non-abrasive materials. They are durable, providing that they print non-abrasive filament, and they are cost-effective too. They are available from GoPrint3D in sizes 0.4mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm, 1mm and 1.2mm, to suit a wide range of filament diameters.
Volcano brass nozzles are hands-down some of the best on the market; they have extra-long heated melt zones for smooth-flowing filament, and they are carefully manufactured to meet flow and throughput needs. The product for sale on this page is available in multiple sizes, and there’s identifiable marks on the flats of the hex to tell you what each nozzle size is. Should you need more than one nozzle size, which you will if you are printing with different filament diameters, simply select what you need from the dropdown to your right.
Please note that if you intend to print with abrasive materials, such as CopperFill or BronzeFill, we recommend you use a hardened steel nozzle for this. Brass is too soft and will wear down; as such, we recommend brass nozzles for softer filaments, like PLA and ABS.
