We are the 3D printing arm of a larger company called Express Group Ltd. Fixing printers since 1988, today we are a Specialist Parts Distributor and Experts in 3D Printing.
We take quality control very seriously, which is why we are audited for ISO9001:2015 certification, this helps ensure we provide great customer service.
3D Platform branched out from an industry-leading mechatronics linear motion manufacturer in 2014. From these origins came the robust, reliable and high-performance components in their range of 3D printers today. These large-format 3D printers can be found in workshops around the world for applications in product design, engineering, automotive, aerospace, architecture and more. An open filament system and upgradeable components make these 3D printers an industry gem.

The 3DP Workbench Pro 300 Series is an industrial-grade, large-format 3D printer with a larger build area than the 200 Series. It has auto mesh bed levelling, advanced cooling and SurePrint Servo technology. A High Flow Air Cooled (HFA) extruder comes as standard with this model, with the option to upgrade to HFE (High Flow Extruder) 300 and 900 extruder heads, which offer a higher flow rate without sacrificing accuracy, detail or quality.
A Worthwhile Upgrade
With a 1m x 1m x 0.7m build volume, the 3DP Workbench Pro is the ideal 3D printer for manufacturers who require more build space than the 200 Series offers. With a print height of 700 mm (27.5-inches), you can 3D print large models with ease. Mechanical and Automatic Mesh Levelling ensure a decent amount of adjustability, while single, dual and HFE extruder configurations ensure you can satisfy all manufacturing requirements.
Used By The World's Leading Brands
3D Platform's range of 3D printers are used by some of the World's leading brands, including Lockheed Martin, Nike, John Deere, The University of Warwick, Caterpillar and even Walt Disney.
Outstanding Print Quality
The 3DP Workbench Pro 300 isn’t all about build volume. It will print down to a layer height of 50-microns (0.0019-inches), and it has enhanced Mechatronics for improved print consistency. Sending files to print and adjusting print settings is easy, thanks to a 7” touch-operated control panel and physical start, stop and pause buttons.
The 3DP Workbench Pro has also been designed to be as practical as possible. For a large printer, it is extremely manoeuvrable thanks to a folding gantry that allows it to be transported through doorways. It features an industrial hardwood workbench, which has the printer’s control panel on top and enough additional space for a separate laptop or a workbook. There are also 12 built-in drawers for filament and tool storage, and the whole unit is on lockable caster wheels to make moving it around easy.

What People Say
“The Workbench is also a highly flexible printer. The hardware allows for easy nozzle change, and the printer is capable of printing with a wide variety of open market materials”
– Clare Scott, 3D Print
“ The ergonomic height and open print bed enable full access to prints for advanced print techniques, such as core modelling and adding inserts of metal, electronics, and other materials.”
– TCT Magazine
“ The students were able to print the mold masters required for the drone in one piece. This eliminated the need for heavy fasteners or connectors to hold pieces together and helped the craft to remain light enough in order to generate speed.”
– Warwick University Case Study
3D Platform is a manufacturer of large-format 3D printers widely used in engineering workshops and by manufacturers to fabricate large models and parts. These robust and reliable machines are sized to meet any need, and although they appear basic at a glance, the features they pack are anything but.
We’re talking about the ability to use HFE or Volcano extruders, auto-mesh bed levelling, SurePrint Step-Servo hybrid motors and 7” TFT displays. These features ensure the 3D Platform range transcends lesser machines. So much so 3D Platform lay claim to a wide range of big brands - such as Caterpillar, Nike, Recaro and FedEx - using their 3D printers somewhere along their production line.
With a 3D Platform printer you will find the blazing fast motors and high-flow extruders meet your demanding applications. The open filament system means you can test any materials that take your fancy. This also means materials can be as affordable or specialist as you like, from economy PLA to special filaments from GoPrint3D.
Industry trusts 3D Platform printers because they are tried, tested and proven to deliver consistent results. With no enclosed build chamber - a necessity of size and design - they also allow for the monitoring of prints on the shop floor.
