The EnvisionTEC Perfactory Vida Hi-Res allows users to 3D print models at a high resolution. An upgrade over the standard Vida, the Vida Hi-Res offers a print resolution down to 50 µm (0.002 in.) and is suitable for both prototype and end-use model printing.

Precise, Low-Cost 3D Printing

The Perfactory Vida Hi-Res 3D printer makes high-precision 3D printing affordable. A low purchase price and affordable materials mean that the Vida Hi-Res offers scalable production for companies of all sizes. With Fused Filament Fabrication 3D printers being unable to accurately print models and comparable SLA printers costing up to twice as much, the Vida Hi-Res is the perfect machine for ambitious users.

Utilising Direct Light Projection (DLP) technology from Texas Instruments, the Vida Hi-Res uses resin as the build material. A high-res projector running at a 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution with custom UV optics cures large amounts of resin per exposure, to eliminate unsightly stair-stepping (visible layer lines) for professional-quality prints. Parts printed by the Vida Hi-Res have outstanding surface quality, with a smooth and desirable finish.

A High-Resolution for Detailed, Intricate Models

The EnvisionTEC Perfactory Vida Hi-Res prints down to a layer height of 50 µm (0.002 in.), compared to the 73 µm (0.0029 in.) of the standard Vida model. This makes the Vida Hi-Res suitable for printing intricate and detailed models. It can also print accurate guides and models where some flexibility is required.

To boost the versatility of the Vida Hi-Res, EnvisionTEC’s created a wide range of resins which are suitable for prototyping and end-use parts. These include ABS 3SP Tough, ABS Flex Light, E-Silicone, LS600, PolyPro Max 3SP, Q-View, R05, RC70 and the E-Shell series.

Founded in 2002, EnvisionTEC is a leading global manufacturer of 3D printers. A pioneer of Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology and Selective Lamination Composite Object Manufacturing (SLCOM) technology, EnvisionTEC has over a dozen 3D printers on the market which range from small desktop models to large-format industrial models. They also manufacture their own range of 3D printing materials, of which there are over fifty.

EnvisionTEC 3D printers include the Perfactory family, which includes the P4 Mini and P4 Standard with DLP technology. The P4 Standard prints at a layer resolution as low as 42 µm (0.0017 in.), with a 3687-cubic cm (225 cubic in.) build volume. The Desktop family is equally impressive, with the Vida range being EnvisionTEC’s best-selling. This range includes the Vida and Vida Hi-Res, which are suitable for printing dental and orthodontic models.

EnvisionTEC’s 3D printers are used in a wide range of markets, including aerospace and consumer goods. In terms of sectors, they are used in manufacturing, engineering, product design, education and medical sectors. EnvisionTEC printers are professional-grade, with fast and accurate results. All EnvisionTEC printers come with a one-year warranty, which is testament to their quality and there are extended warranties available to customers.
