The EnvisionTEC Ultra 3SP is a high-performance 3D printer that utilises ground-breaking 3SP (Scan, Spin and Selectively Photocure) technology. An exclusive technology, it offers fast print speeds without sacrificing surface quality. This 3D printer is ideally suited to manufacturing concept models and high-temperature moulds, with extensive resin support to cater for a wide range of manufacturing requirements.

3SP Technology for Demanding Environments

3SP is an advanced 3D printing technology, that uses a UV laser to rapidly scan, spin and selectively photo-cure resin into a solid object. Designed to print large models and components, 3SP is a reliable and consistent technology for manufacturers who require a production method that will keep up with demand. It is used in a wide variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, medical, entertainment and consumer goods.

The Ultra 3SP has a 266 x 175 x 193 mm (10.5 x 6.9 x 7.6 in.) build volume – 9,013 cubic cm, or 550 cubic inches - and prints down to a 100 µm (0.004 in.) resolution. With those technical specifications, the Ultra 3SP is suitable for printing large, detailed models, including prototypes and end-use parts. Perfect model production is achieved thanks to pre-programmed print settings, and there’s a wide range of materials to print with.

The range of supported materials includes ABS 3SP Tough, which produces rigid and stable models with mechanical properties that are like high-strength ABS, E-Glass 3DP, for strong, transparent models, and PolyPro MAX 3SP, a specialist material that’s used for prototyping and end-use parts that require resilience to repeat use, such as snap-fit joints. Additional materials include E-Model 3SP, E-Clear 3SP and E-Dentstone 3SP Peach.

Outstanding Print Quality

The Ultra 3SP specialises in producing shelf-worthy parts without any need for finishing. 3SP technology produces ‘layerless’ parts, in that there’s no visible layer lines on the inner or outer surfaces. It’s extremely quiet in operation too, producing less noise than most Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) 3D printers and Sterolithography (SLA) 3D printers.

You also have complete control over the print process. The Ultra 3SP has a touchscreen control panel with pre-programmed and customisable print settings. It comes preinstalled with all necessary software, and has one-button 3D printing functionality.

Designed for real production requirements, EnvisionTEC 3D printers are second to none in terms of features, functionality and accuracy.

The Desktop line is EnvisionTEC’s best-selling line. It includes the Vida, Vida Hi-Res and Desktop XL Plus. All printers in this range use DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology.

The Perfactory line uses EnvisionTEC’s exclusive Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology, and comprises the P4 Standard, P4 Standard XL, P4 Mini and P4 Mini XL. With build sizes up to 253.6 cubic inches, this is an outstanding range for those of you who require a relatively compact 3D printer that also offers industrial-grade results.

The 3SP range uses unique Selective Photocuring technology to 3D print accurate, detailed parts. This range includes the Ultra 3SP, Ultra 3SP HD, Vector 3SP, Vector 3SP Hi-Res, Xtreme 3SP and Xede 3SP. The printers in this line offer large build areas and extreme accuracy, and they are even capable of printing tools for thermoplastic injection moulding.
