The EnvisionTEC Ultra 3SP HD offers the same generous build volume as the standard Ultra 3SP, but takes resolution to another level for even greater print detail. With a layer-resolution down to 50 µm (0.002 in.), the Ultra 3SP High Definition offers twice the print detail of the standard Ultra 3SP whilst maintaining ease of use and print speed.

We recommend the Ultra 3SP High Definition to designers, engineers and manufacturers who’ll print intricate models and parts. Parts printed by the Ultra 3SP High Definition 3D printer have outstanding accuracy and detail. There are a wide range of resins to print with too, ranging from durable resins for snap-fit joints to resins for dental models.

3SP Technology

3SP Technology is an all-new 3D printing technology launched in 2016. 3SP, which stands for Scan, Spin and Selectively Photocure, uses a UV laser to rapidly scan, spin and photo-cure resin into solid, usable parts and models. Not to be confused with DLP (Direct Light Projection) or Stereolithography (SLA), 3SP is a standalone technology with numerous benefits, including print speed, print accuracy, print consistency and production uptime.

A true industrial-grade 3D printer, the EnvisionTEC Ultra 3SP HD offers a spacious build volume and incredible resolution. The build volume stands at 266 x 175 x 193 mm (10.5 x 6.9 x 7.6 in.), which is the same as the standard Ultra 3SP model, however the HD model can print down to a layer height of 50 µm (0.002 in.), compared to the 100 µm (0.004 in.) resolution of the standard model. This means that you can print parts with more detail and intricacy, such as snap-fit joints, consumer products and tools for injection moulding.

Extensive Material Support

The Ultra 3SP HD supports a wide range of proprietary print materials. These include ABS Flex 3SP, ABS Flex Plus 3SP, ABS Tough 3SP, ABS TRU 3SP, E-Dentstone 3SP, E-Glass 3SP and E-Tool 3SP. These materials cover a wide range of applications. In addition to that extensive material support, the Ultra 3SP HD is exceptionally easy to setup and use with a touchscreen interface. It also stands as one of the most reliable printers we have had the pleasure of testing. Overall, it’s a fantastic machine for designers, engineers and manufactures alike.
