The EnvisionTEC Vector Hi-Res 3SP is an industrial-grade 3D printer for manufacturing high-detail parts. Printing down to a resolution of 50.8 µm (0.002 in.), which is equivalent to 50-microns, the Vector Hi-Res has twice the resolution capability of the standard Vector 3SP. It uses EnvisionTEC’s patented 3SP (Scan, Spin, and Selectively Photocure) technology to print accurate, detailed models faster than conventional DLP and SLA technologies allow.

Fast Print Speeds

The Vector Hi-Res 3SP offers faster print speeds than DLP (Digital Light Projection) or SLA (Stereolithography) 3D printers. Using EnvisionTEC’s patented 3SP (Scan, Spin, and Selectively Photocure) technology, the Vector Hi-Res uses a UV laser to selectively photo-cure resin. Unlike DLP, which cures resin vertically, 3SP cures resin horizontally which is ideal for larger parts, because more resin can be cured per exposure to increase print speed.

In addition to fast print speeds, the Vector Hi-Res 3SP also offers outstanding uptime, reliability and low cost running. Uptime and reliability is second-to-none, with few moving parts to go wrong, and a single material is used to print the part and its support system.

3D Print Large, High-Resolution Parts and Models

With a print resolution of 50.8 µm (0.002-inches, 50.8-microns) and a 300 x 175 x 275 mm (11.8 x 6.9 x 10.8 in.) build volume, the Vector Hi-Res 3SP is suitable for 3D printing large, high-detail parts including dental models, biocompatible models, prototypes, end-use parts such as snap-fit joints and gears, moulds for injection moulding and much more. There are a wide range of supported materials available to suit virtually any application.

Supported materials include ABS TRU 3SP, E-Glass 3SP, ABS Hi-Impact, E-Tool, E-Model 3SP, E-Clear 3SP and E-Model Flex Series. These materials are all proprietary filaments, with very different mechanical properties. For example, ABS Hi-Impact is an extremely flexible material for applications where some elasticity is needed, while E-Model 3SP is a strong and high-resolution material that’s suitable for printing production-quality prototypes.

Designed for real production requirements, EnvisionTEC 3D printers are second to none in terms of features, functionality and accuracy.

The Desktop line is EnvisionTEC’s best-selling line. It includes the Vida, Vida Hi-Res and Desktop XL Plus. All printers in this range use DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology.

The Perfactory line uses EnvisionTEC’s exclusive Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology, and comprises the P4 Standard, P4 Standard XL, P4 Mini and P4 Mini XL. With build sizes up to 253.6 cubic inches, this is an outstanding range for those of you who require a relatively compact 3D printer that also offers industrial-grade results.

The 3SP range uses unique Selective Photocuring technology to 3D print accurate, detailed parts. This range includes the Ultra 3SP, Ultra 3SP HD, Vector 3SP, Vector 3SP Hi-Res, Xtreme 3SP and Xede 3SP. The printers in this line offer large build areas and extreme accuracy, and they are even capable of printing tools for thermoplastic injection moulding.
