Roboze Filaments

Roboze has developed a number of advanced and functional filaments for their printers, which have been created by working with scientific and technological leaders, to ensure that they are the best that they can be. The filaments include PEEK, a semi-crystalline polymer, PEI, a high-performance engineering polymer, ABS-ESD, Carbon PA, a polyamide with real carbon fibre strands for creating strong and durable automotive parts, and PMMA, a transparent material for medical and optical applications. There are several other filaments to choose from too, which cover all applications no matter the industry you operate in.

Roboze Filaments

As everybody knows, there isn’t a single filament for all print applications. ABS for instance is great for producing rigid prototype casings, but it isn’t suitable for producing end-use mechanical parts. Meanwhile, nylon is suitable for end-use mechanical parts, but it’s too valuable to be used for prototype casings. What engineers, designers and manufacturers need then is a whole assortment of materials, to suit each task or application.

Roboze has developed such a range of filaments, with significant R&D investment, to create some of the finest materials on the market. These include PEEK; a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer with excellent mechanical properties, and PEI; a high-performance engineering polymer with extreme resistance to hydrolysis and acids. These functional filaments are joined by ABS-ESD; an advanced ABS, Carbon PA; an advanced polyamide that’s reinforced with carbon fibre strands, PMMA; a plexiglass filament that’s completely transparent, and Functional, Flex, Strong and Ultra filaments, which are ABS, Nylon, PLA or polyurethane derived filaments that live up the characteristics their names suggest.

Please note that some of the materials listed above are only suited for the Roboze One +400 3D printer, which as a maximum extrusion temperature of 400°C.
