If you have an UP Mini or UP Plus 2 3D printer, then you’ll be needing lots of filament to realise all of the wonderful ideas you have. And with the ability to print in both ABS and PLA, you can push the boundaries with the models you create with your UP printer – the sky really is the limit! At GoPrint3D, we stock the widest range of official Afinia ABS and PLA filaments that are guaranteed compatible with your UP 3D printer. Enjoy fantastic value with the Afinia Value Line or the finest 3D printing with the Afinia Premium Line. Whichever you choose, you can rest assured that all of our UP supplies come at the best price.
The UP Box and UP Mini are fused filament fabrication (FFF) 3D printers that support 1.75mm diameter ABS and PLA filament.
The thermal print head on these 3D printers has been specially designed for UP filament, however you can also use Afinia H-Series filament in your UP 3D printer, or any high quality ABS or PLA, so long as it is 1.75mm and comes from a reputable brand.
The best value can be found in the higher reel weights. A 1kg reel of ABS will last you through tens of large prints or hundreds of smaller prints, and it will cost you considerably less than two 500g reels would. Which filament should you choose when it comes to ABS vs. PLA? ABS produces stronger more durable parts, however PLA produces better detail when printed at a lower resolution, and it is also biodegradable. We recommend you utilise both filaments in your designs, to get the best of both worlds. They also cost around the same.
