The M300 is the biggest 3D printer Zortrax has ever made. It features an enormous 300 x 300 x 300 mm build volume and delivers the reliability, dimensional accuracy and precision of Zortrax's smaller 3D printers, the M200 and Inventure.
The Zortrax M300 boasts a build volume large enough to 3D print a motorcycle helmet in one sitting. With 30 x 30 x 30 cm to play with, this 3D printer is ideally suited to 3D projects where size is crucial. It offers a build area 10 per cent larger than the M200.
Dimensional Accuracy? Check!
The M300 is built on the same foundation as the M200, which is to say the components that power the M300 deliver where it matters most – dimensional accuracy. The M300 has a layer resolution of 140-300 microns and the performance when printing at 140-300 microns is absolutely fantastic. CAD drawings are matched perfectly in real life.
Choose your Filament
The M300 is designed to 3D print with proprietary filaments. Zortrax filaments are, in our opinion, of a higher quality than 99 per cent of third party filaments. Choose to 3D print with: Z-ULTRAT, a versatile plastic for multi-prototyping; Z-HIPS, a material that delivers a smooth matte finish; Z-GLASS, a material that's semi-transparent (akin to glass); and Z-PETG, an extremely tough and hardy material with good chemical resistance.
The Zortrax M300 is without doubt one of the best-looking and most stylish large desktop 3D printers on the market today. It is just at home sitting on an office desk as it is sharing a tool desk with engineers. The svelte, matte black case draws the eye and the ‘smoked’ side covers offer a private view of your parts throughout the print process. The M300 isn’t a ‘loud’ machine though; it blends into its environment, no matter where that might be.
